Candle and Wax Melt Care

Candle Care

Every candle's wax and wick combinations have been rigorously tested to ensure that the candles burn evenly, safely and with a scent that will fill your room. Please ensure you follow the candle care instructions to get the most out of your candle.

The first time you light your candle, allow the wax to melt to the edges of the glass. The recommended burn time is 2-4 hours.

Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours. Doing so can result in the melt pool becoming too big and the candle overheating.

Light your candle on a heat resistant surface away from drafts. Keep out of the reach of children, pets and flammable items.

Please ensure you trim your wick in between burns. Once the candle has cooled, pinch the charred wood with your fingertips to remove and dispose. Ensure there are no trimmings left on the surface of the wax before relighting.

This is a natural wax, so you may see the odd little hairline crack. After burning there may be small bumps on the surface when it cools and sets. This is a normal feature of a natural wax and will not affect the performance of your candle.

Wax Melt Care

Each wax melt should give you around 12 hours of fragrance - meaning each pack gives you over 72 hours of fragrance!

Place just one wax melt on your wax melt burner using a four hour tea light. It is not recommended that you use larger tea lights as this may result in over heating the burner and burning off the fragrance quicker. Some fragrances last longer than 12 hours.

The wax will not burn away like a candle. Once the fragrance has run out remove the wax and replace with a new wax melt.

Burn your wax melts on a heat resistant surface away from drafts. Keep out of the reach of children, pets and flammable items.

Lastly, it’s really important that you sit back and enjoy burning your candles and wax melts. It’s lovely to see these being used in your homes, so please feel free to share your experience and tag us on social media.
