I’ve always loved travelling and adventures. I consider myself very lucky to be from Scotland, where we have an abundance of scenic views on our doorstep. One of my favourite memories of traveling, was exploring the North Coast 500 route around Scotland. After daily adventures (including woodland walks), I found such joy and content when cosying up inside our accommodation by the crackling log fire, sheltering from the weather outside.

I created this candle to bring these memories back to life, by filling the room with the warm earthy scents of smokey woods of oak, warm spices, vetiver and a tiny hint of mint.

Description

Made with a natural rapeseed wax blend, FCS certified wooden wicks and using paragon free and vegan friendly fragrance oils.

Approximately 45 hours burn time when following care instructions.

Candle Care

When burning, allow the wax to melt to the edges of the glass. The recommended burn time is 2-4 hours.

Trim your wick between each burn by pinching the charred wood off with your fingertips. Dispose and relight.

Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours. Doing so can result in the melt pool becoming too big and the candle overheating.

Light your candle on a heat resistant surface away from drafts. Keep out of the reach of children, pets and flammable items.

Beautiful fresh scent

Highland Bothy, a beautiful, fresher scent of the outdoors, yet has a cosy warmth as well which just fills my living space; I can even smell the candle when its not alight! The wood wick burns beautifully and evenly. Just love Sorcha products!

Subtle earthy tones

As always the packaging and look of this Sorcha Candle is beautiful, with a tactile matt ceramic jar and pretty label. The clever wick creates a dancing flame and slight crackling noise which is very pleasing. The scent is earthy and woody without being too masculine. You can really smell the vetiver but it’s not overpowering. Just a lovely subtle oaky scent to fill your home on dark, chilly nights. Perfect.

Fab purchase

I bought this candle for my Mum. I bought another Sorcha candle and we were going to swap half way through.....I have yet to see the Highland Bothy candle....she won't give it up!!!! She loves it...thanks so much Sarah.
